Terri Smith

Terri Smith is Research and Instruction Librarian and Professor of Information Competency at Taft College. She is a proud native of Bakersfield, California, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Literature from California State University, Bakersfield. She earned her Master of Library and Information Science Degree from San Jose State University.

Before joining the faculty at Taft College in 2013, she was an Adjunct Librarian at Bakersfield College.

A few of Smith’s favorite pastimes are sewing, gardening, and all types of puzzles. She says her quest for knowledge never gets old and that she loves research.
