Tabitha Raber


Tabitha Raber is Associate Professor of Administration of Justice/Criminal Justice Administration at Taft College. She joined the Taft College Faculty in 2017.

As a Criminal Justice professional with more than 20 years of experience as an officer, she says she looks forward to preparing students for a career in the criminal justice profession. 

Prior to her career at Taft College, she was employed with the Kern County Probation Department for more than two decades, working as both a Supervision Officer and a Court Investigator. 

Her goal is to provide students with the knowledge and experiences she has developed over the years to better prepare them for a challenging and rewarding career in law enforcement. 

In addition to a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, Raber has a Master’s Degree in Forensic Psychology. 

In her free time, Raber enjoys traveling with her family and spending time with her rescue dogs.
