Kyle Webster
Associate Professor Kyle Webster teaches anatomy, physiology, microbiology, and fundamentals of biology at Taft College. He spent two years as a member of the Adjunct Faculty before joining the faculty full time.
Born and raised in Washington State, Webster moved south and studied biology at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. He earned his Master’s Degree in Science in molecular, cellular, and developmental biology at the University of Colorado in Boulder, where he did research on epigenetic modifications in fruit flies.
Returning to California, he spent some time working in a lab before teaching advanced placement biology, dual enrollment biology, and chemistry at Ridgeview High School in Bakersfield. During that time, he completed his Master’s Degree in Science Education at California State University, Bakersfield.
Webster says he enjoys camping and hiking with his wife and three children, as well as motorcycling and mountain biking.
