To meet the State of California requirements, a student must: Obtain Infant/Child CPR and First Aid certificates, 350 days (3+ hours per day within four years) of experience working with typically developing children (birth to age three) within the previous four years. A minimum of 100 hours of experience is to include supervised work with children with special needs.
