Darcy Bogle
Darcy Bogle is a Counselor at Taft College. She received her Master of Arts Degree in Psychology, from California State University, Bakersfield and began her counseling career at Bakersfield College in 2002. She joined Taft College in 2006, serving as the Coordinator of Counseling/Matriculation until 2013, when she was offered the position of Vice President, Student Services. In 2016, she returned to counseling, primarily serving the students in the Math, Science, and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields.
In her 20+ years in higher education, she has had the opportunity to teach, counsel, and provide leadership to Student Affairs at various levels. She is an enthusiastic supporter of positive psychology, enjoys the outdoors, and likes all things that are purple! She has met many wonderful students and professionals in her career and appreciates learning from her own experiences, as well as from everyone around her.
