HALL OF FAME MEETING MINUTES

8:10 am – 9:00 am

Darcy thanked the members for their feedback regarding their preference of having the HOF ceremony virtual vs. in-person. The overall consensus was to have an in-person HOF ceremony to give the inductees their due recognition and celebration of their accomplishments.
In addition, the committee decided to also proceed with the current selected HOF inductees from 2020 and not seek further nominations.
The committee also discussed the best date to hold the ceremony and agreed that Saturday, November 6, 2021 and Sunday, November 7, 2021 would be the best dates for the HOF events.
A brief discussion on what venue to use for the 2021 HOF celebration/dinner. The following were suggested options:
- West Side Recreational Center
- OT’s Steakhouse (If they open back up)
- TC Student Center
The committee will revisit the discussion of the venue and food services for the event at the future meetings.
Tony suggested not using videos this year and would rather let the inductees/speakers relay the information personally.

The committee agreed to suspend seeking nominations for the 2021 HOF ceremony and just honor the current ones selected in 2020.
Darcy will update the HOF website to notify people of the delay of nominations.

Update HOF forms (for the next year) and induction ceremony info (for current year) on website.
Invite Foundation to host inductee luncheon/celebration the day/night prior to awards banquet.
