Minutes

Monday, December 4, 2017

1:00 COUNSELING CONFERENCE ROOM

  1. Approve November minutes.
    • Danielle made a motion to approve, Janis seconded the motion.
  1. Continue to review Guided Pathways Self-Assessment.
    • Decision was made to postpone looking at the Guided Pathways Self-Assessment until we get to the point that the college is about to begin writing the five year plan.
  1. Annual Program Review
    • Reviewed last year’s APR. Committee noted that two of the items in the “What if…?” section were accomplished (Redirect Net Tutor resources and use Basic Skills money to pay for tutors). Also, under Section III, #2, 3, and 4 were accomplished. However, the Summer Bridge program did not end up serving Basic Skills students. For the upcoming Annual Program Review, goals are to create a Summer Bridge for basic skills students, hire a full time writing tutor, and have English faculty in the labs.
  1. Evaluate performance as per charter.
    • This will be done after Spring semester.
  1. Spring planning

No meeting during January inservice. Lori will send out a Doodle to determine spring availability.
